The International Register of Bird of Prey Professionals TM is a professional body for those individuals working with birds of prey in a commercial or professional context.

The aims of the IRBPP TM are:

  • to improve bird of prey welfare by raising standards

  • to provide development pathways for those working towards professional competence

  • to provide professional recognition for those demonstrating the highest standards

  • to facilitate knowledge-sharing and networking across international borders

  • to increase opportunities for members by promoting the benefits of professional standing

  • to lobby for improved standards and recognition of the role of birds of prey in maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

The aims of the IRBPP TM will be met by:

  • recognising, encouraging and improving professionalism amongst members and the wider bird of prey community
  • raising standards by means of education, networking and the continuing professional development of its members
