Full member – do I qualify?

Do you qualify to become a full member?

You must be an associate member before you can apply for full membership.

You may apply if you:

  • are already working in a professional / commercial role using birds of prey as an employee or volunteer, or on your own account, e.g. self-employed, and

  • can demonstrate professional competence as defined in the relevant section of the ‘International and Occupational Standards for Bird of Prey Welfare’ TM ,and

  • will commit to developing your practical and technical expertise by undertaking continuing professional development (CPD), and

  • agree to comply with the IRBPP professional code of conduct, and

  • agree to your details being made publicly available in the searchable database of members. The searchable database enables prospective customers, employers and others to easily find bird of prey professionals, and

  • can provide contact detail for referees who can verify your  suitability for full membership.
