Tethering proposals

Update 03/11/2022:

Earlier this year the IRBPP consulted with members and other bird of prey professionals, and invited comments from the wider bird of prey community on the proposed changes to bird of prey management.

Based on this feedback and the principles of bird of prey husbandry and management in the ‘National bird of prey standards‘, we submitted a response to the consultation.

We understand that proposed changes will be introduced by DEFRA in 2027.
