As a Bird of Prey Professional you are working in an increasingly complicated world.
The IRBPP is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting those who work with, or encounter birds of prey in any professional capacity. Over the years we have built up an impressive understanding of licensing obligations, and your legal and professional needs.
Working through Raptor Awards we consulted with DEFRA to get many of the worst impositions of the Animal Activities Regulations (AAL) removed or toned down. We have provided feedback on the upcoming tethering proposals to support the continued display of birds of prey, and we have provided instruction for Licensing Inspectors to enable them to understand better what they can reasonably expect when visiting bird of prey premises.
We have built up an impressive library of professional material which is now available for general use.
