Formed in the wake of Lantra’s withdrawal from the market in 2015 Raptor Awards was launched to continue to offer a quality assured range of bird of prey courses and awards.

It has just been announced that Raptor Awards have now delivered more than 4000 online tests undertaken by both experienced and would-be bird of prey keepers. Raptor Awards is a leading provider of bird of prey courses and the only provider working to National Standards.

Online tests are used within Raptor Awards courses to help candidates judge their progress as they work through the online support materials. The online courses supplement face to face learning with approved Instructors.

The principle remit of Raptor Awards (a not-for-profit Community Enterprise) is to improve the welfare of captive birds of prey through education and training, and they currently offer a range of quality assured, certificated courses delivered in the UK through a network of approved centres.
